Versatile surface construction teams
Fortis’ industrial construction crews are multi-trade teams of ironworkers, millwrights, mechanics, electricians, and machinists. We take on everything from piling and concrete to structural steel erection, demolition, and rehabilitation — complemented by rigging, hoist supply, installation, and commissioning.
Notable work includes rock blasting of roughly 20,000 m³ on a Saskatchewan highway project, high-angle rescue lug installation (WINSAFE 5T rated), 75-foot A-frame bracing, 10-ton monorail and chain hoist installations, hydroelectric power station platforms, spill booms, and elevator structural steel. Every project is supported by job-site procedures and engineered lift plans.
